AIRSPACE

The "Valle Gaffaro" Airfield is located in the Golf FMC (Frequency Monitoring Codes) "Padova Central (from GND to 5000FT) airspace. The code 4777 must be entered in the transponder; listen on frequency 124.150.

IN-FLIGHT TRAFFIC

On arrival and departure, follow the indications given in the AAI Avioportolano Aeronautical Information sheets relating to airfield FE03 - Valle Gaffaro - Codigoro.

Regardless of the information received from the chariot, take-offs and landings are carried out at the discretion and under the sole responsibility of the pilot.

Drivers are required to visually check traffic conditions. In particular, it is recommended that you check for traffic in the final before starting your alignment turn for the final approach.

RWY IN USE

The runway in use for take-off and landing is indicated by the orientation of the landing tee or by the chariot. pilots are required to respect the runway in use at the time of the maneuver.

RADIO COMMUNICATIONS

The chariot only provides general information and suggestions at the request of the pilot. The request is activated when the radio contact is opened on the frequency 130.000 and with the name "Valle Gaffaro" if the call is not preceded by the phrase "call in the air".

  • Any known traffic
  • Any suggestions for maneuvers

GROUND TRAFFIC

On arrival and departure, taxi to the parking lots or take off following the entry and exit routes indicated in the plans of the AAI Avioportolano Aeronautical Information cards. The exit of airplanes from the pedestrian areas open to visitors must be carried out with the engine off.

Pay particular attention to starting the engine, making sure that the area hit by the propeller wake is free from people and things.

PILOTS AND CREW REGISTRATION

Drivers and crews are requested to arrive at the check-in table for registration. The pass for access to the flight line consisting of a green bracelet will be issued. In case the bracelet is lost, please go back to the check-in table to get a new one.

REFUELING

The refueling service is provided with two mobile tanks for unleaded petrol and AvGAS. JA1 or similar is not available. Details relating to the service will be communicated shortly.

VIABILITY

Guests arriving by car or camper will follow the directions to reach the parking area, respecting the gate dedicated to the exit.

CAMPER

Campers must be parked in the dedicated area. Water is available in the services and in the points indicated in the plan. There are no waste water collection tanks available. Do not empty anything on the ground.

No free fire is allowed. Charcoal or gas grills are only allowed on dedicated container accessories.

All pets must be kept on a leash. And please clean up any excrement.

CAMPING NEAR THE AIRCRAFT

Tents can be set up close to your aircraft as close as possible. If you don't put the tent near your plane, you can pitch it in the camper parking area. The use of open flames, charcoal barbeques or anything similar is not allowed.

TOILET

The location of the toilets will be indicated on the floor plans. We try to keep the services clean with a constant cleaning service. Guests are asked to use the services with the utmost care and attention to cleanliness and hygiene.

WASTE

Do not leave any waste on the ground, separate the waste and use the separate collection containers.

CONNECTION WITH ACCOMMODATION STRUCTURES

A shuttle service will be arranged for the connection to and from the accommodation facilities that have an agreement with the hotel. Details will be disclosed on these pages.

AIRCRAFT MOVEMENT AREA

Access to aircraft movement areas is forbidden to guests without authorization.
